Outdoor Classroom

The Haiti Beekeepers Society is dedicated to creating meaningful employment and food resources for Haitians through beekeeping and regenerative agriculture. Beekeeping offers sustainable economic opportunities while contributing to the land’s health. With formal training programs, and partnerships with other Haitian organizations, we’ve trained more than 200 beekeepers. Our focus on high student retention, and female participation, has resulted in a dynamic, equitable community of beekeeper farmers who produce more than 18,000 litres of honey per year. We are also involved in various current projects, such as: regenerative (syntropic) farming on our training centre property, building our caretaker residence, and community training programs.
